Warm Edge Super Spacer For Double Glazed Windows

The Energy Saving Trust states that around 20% of the heat lost from an average home occurs through the windows. This heat lost accounts for an annual half tonne of CO2 per home to the atmosphere, in addition to the increased fuel bills.

Reducing Heat Loss Through Double Glazed Windows

Super Spacer is 950 times less conductive than aluminium, which is standard material used to manufacture the spacer bar between the two panes of glass in a double glazed window or door unit.

Around 80% of the heat loss through a window occurs at the edge of the unit because the aluminium used in standard metal spacer bars act as a thermal energy drain allowing heat to escape from your home via the window unit. The Super Spacer blocks this escape route.

Super Spacer is an energy saving foam spacer designed to reduce heat loss through double glazed units. Windows with Super Spacer reduce heat lost through your windows, helping to keep your home warm.

Reduce Noise & Condensation

There are other benefits of installing double glazed windows with Super Spacer. Condensation can be reduced by up to 70%. This will virtually eliminate the potential breeding ground for bacteria, mould and dust mites.

Super Spacer also a noise insulator, reducing noise transmission by up to 2dB.
